Join us for a stripped down evening of indie music.
Opener - Julie Stella.
Based in Ottawa, Acadian singer songwriter Julie Stella (she/her) describes her music as moody, sad girl vibes. Some might describe her songs as nostalgic, while others might say they’re heartbreaking. Julie writes songs on her old piano to explore the complex layers of love, grief and healing.
Growing up in a small town in New Brunswick, Julie was drawn to music of all genres. Many artists influenced her sound and her style, including Fiona Apple, Emily Haines and Phoebe Bridgers.
Headliner - ASHES
ASHES creates atmospheric, emotionally driven indie music that invites listeners into worlds of their own making. ASHES is currently developing an EP that threads her three released singles into a larger story, she explores the idea of escape, wandering into faraway places, both real and imagined, that exist within the mind.
Join ASHES alongside Harry Couling and Jonas Bakelaar of Painting Pelicans for an evening of eclectic sounds and original music.
